I don't know what the difference is between this and the k-cup brewer. They look the same in the picture but the one I bought was the lesser priced one but says classic so anyway, it has 2 cup settings. My initial reaction to this product is Oh my gosh! Great coffee/no waste. Second reaction is Oh my gosh! Coffee is so much more pricey this way!. I think my first reaction might win over the second. For some reason when I make coffee it comes out different every day...maybe its not the precise water/coffee measurement I don't know, but it doesn't taste good on some days and I use starbucks. With this...great cup of coffee every time and no leftover/waste. My tastebuds win over my frugality and that says a lot because I don't like paying full price let alone, more than necessary for anything. I ordered coffee from Amazon and I hear Keurig has 20% off sales on coffee cups periodically. I will use Keurig for as long as I can afford it. No messy grounds clean up either or stained coffee pot/messy coffee area. The price is great compared with other models that cost more. As I said before I paid 115.00 for the classic keurig it may be the same as what is advertised here as the keurig k-cup. Also... I like the less that 1 minute delivery. Granted, it still takes about 3 -4 min to initially heat up the unit each day, but whatever. Keep water in it, turn it on, go to the bathroom, come back and it's ready.
