I do not understand what the previous review has to do with the actual Brewer. Did you get it fast, does it work properly?, is your coffee delicious...is the pot of good quality?? But I digress. I have purchased 3 Keurig brewers in as many years - the quality is HORRIBLE. So I switched to this brewer because we really want single cup brewing in our home. I researched this brewer. It has a great quality rating and many people have owned them for years (not just 1 year per brewer)-SO I bought this one. First, let me say that the machine itself is SO much smaller, SO much quieter, SO much more sophisticated AND the best part, it makes the BEST TASTING COFFEE. I was a Gevalia fan prior to single cup technology and bought it for many years. I was disappointed to find they didnt make K-CUPS. I am THRILLED to have this delicious, smooth coffee once again. What a difference! This pot is SMART, CUTE, Makes a variety of coffees, and the pods are slightly less expensive than the K-cups. The other machine made COFFEE only, but this makes REAL expresso and caps...really delicious. Buy one...you wont be sorry.Now for the supply of coffee....I am on the home delivery program for Gevalia. EXCELLENT service and they sell OTHER brands of the Tassimo pods as well. They are never out of stock. Also, there is a large selection right here on AMAZON and at Bed, Bath and Beyond. I have read over and over that Tassimo direct is a problem...well guess what? You can buy these pods from MANY, MANY dealers both on the internet and in a brick and mortar store. I have 10 different kinds of coffee, cappicino's and espresso in my home and I didnt have to go to "EGYPT" to find them or whine on an Amazon review about it.This is a great investment - far better than the "other guy"

This is my third Tassimo. Other than my first model, manufactured by Braun not Bosch, I have been very satisfied with the operation of these brewers. Braun apparently no longer makes Tassimo brewers. Braun brewers were notoriously loud when brewing and they vibrated alarmingly.The Bosch models are quiet and efficient. The main differences between the TASSIMO Single Serve Coffeemaker, T45 which I took to my office and the T65 are a cup stand light and an LCD display which graphically shows your cup is either half empty or half full depending on your state of mind.Either the T45 or T65 is an excellent choice.Both the T45 and the T65 have large 1.8 L tanks which is a definite convenience. The smaller models like the Tassimo T20 Single-serve Beverage Maker have much smaller tanks,More importantly the entry level units do not have Mavea 1001122 Maxtra Replacement Filter for Mavea Water Filtration Pitcher, 3-Pack. This means you should use filtered or bottled water which can add to the real cost of operation should you be deciding solely on the basis of brewer price. Since the higher end units have sensors which tell you when to descale, water filtration helps postpone that chore (roughly every 4-6 months in practice). Tassimo recommends changing the filter every 8 weeks. My T45 did not have a display indicator for changing filters. The T65 does. Hopefully that feature will help me be more diligent in that regard.What is at stake here is coffee, good coffee. A well maintained Tassimo brewer translates into a perfect cup of Joe (or tea or hot chocolate) every time.There are lots of coffees from which to chose. I prefer the Gevalia Signature Crema, 16-Count T-Discs for Tassimo Brewers (Pack of 3) and my wife, a tea drinking Canadian by birth, is nuts over Twinings English Breakfast Tea, 16-Count T-Discs for Tassimo Coffeemakers (Pack of 2). Since I mentioned Canada, the favorite coffee north of the border is what they call "Timmy's". Even though Starbucks no longer offers Tassimo coffees, Tim Hortons TASSIMO Coffee T DISCs (14-Count) will satisfy most Canadian houseguests.My first Braun Tassimo brewer wasn't perfect. Tassimo has come a long way since then. Each of these Bosch brewers is greatly superior. The reason I have kept buying new brewers is that no matter the model, the end result is worth the cost of the brewer, the cost of the coffee, and the minimal time needed to keep the brewer in top shape.Enjoy.

First let me start by saying that I have a Keurig and a Tassimo that I currently use. I got a really good deal on the used Keurig that I have in my camper and that is good enough for that (after all I am roughing it) but I LOVE my Tassimo. I have had this machine for 3 years. I use it every day and make several cups of coffee daily. I have had no problems at all. The coffee is cheaper than the Kuerig but luckily I don't have to buy that much coffee for my camper. The coffee is better than the Keurig. You don't have as much variety as the Keurig but if you are like me I have my favorites and the 57 varieties that are available work for me. Amazon has a good variety and I have my favorite on auto delivery so I never run out. As far as the Tassimo website, they are not as fast a Amazon so I rarely buy from them but I don't really have any other complaints about them. I can make cappuccino, latte, ice coffee, tea, hot chocolate and many other varieties that you can't get with a Keurig as well as different sizes. I make a large cup for my travel mug every morning and it fills it up without adding extra water. The review that said her travel cup is too tall and doesn't fit must really have a BIG cup because all my travel cups fit and the one I use the most is over 7" tall without the lid. My Keurig will only hold a standard size cup period. Let me say this one more time, the coffee is much cheaper than the Keurig and that is reason enough to buy this machine.
