Product Information

Whether selecting a light blend, dark roast, or any variety of coffee, Incred 'a Brew by ZEVRO always brews a consistent rich and aromatic cup of coffee. Start with heating cold water and bringing it to a full boil, do not over boil. Meanwhile, place 1-2 tablespoons of ground coffee, for every six ounces of water, into the clear BPA FREE chamber, adjust coffee measurement to suit your taste preference. Pour the boiled water into the chamber and let brew for 2-4 minutes which is just enough time to extract the flavor (adjust brewing time to your liking). Once brewed lift the Incred 'a Brew off its included drip tray and place it on top of your coffee cup. The patented automatic valve will start the flow of coffee into your cup while the removable double filter prevents coffee grounds from passing through the brewing chamber. Simply lift the Incred 'a Brew to stop the flow of coffee and return it to the drip tray. Enjoy your finely prepared cup of coffee and notice its perfect aroma, body, acidity, and balance.

Incred 'a Brew VS Aeropress?
Kelsey D. Starr

This brewer is the wonderful mixture of ingenuity, convenience, and precision for the avid coffee drinker. And the aeropress does indeed make delicious coffee, we have one, and this brewer is a similar method (pour over/direct immersion). However, one difference is that this brewer is without the steam press part of the aeropress (as in making espressos, the aeropress additionally presses the steam above the brewed coffee right through the grounds), this incred 'a brew method does not have that, which may leave some flavor unextracted. [I.E. in taste, aeropress probably wins, but perhaps not by much.. it doesn't make a considerable difference to the casual coffee drinker]This method at first glance seems to be a little bit more convenient for the simple fact that there is no pressing involved or filter changing. However, if you think about it a little more, consider the clean up. With the aeropress, you simply remove the filter cap and press out the coffee "puck" and paper filter right into the trash, rinse the parts, viola. I also have an ingenuiTEA tea pot which is just like this brewer, but it is shaped differently and was intended for tea (don't ask me the difference, otherwise). My biggest complaint about this tea pot is the clean up afterwards. The mesh filter does come out, but not very easily... otherwise you have to scrape out all of the stuff from the bottom... and I see this is the same for this coffee brewer, which to me spells a huge MESS. On the upside, as far as grinds getting into your coffee, for standard pre-ground coffee, the filter is great... the airtight lid and little spout in the middle of the filter is designed such that the air comes through allowing the coffee to flow out freely and not create too much force as to pull more grinds through, but it is not as good as a paper filter (another pro of the aeropress). All of that being said, take extreme care not to damage the portion of the lid that makes the airtight seal near the handle, or else the entire function is ruined (as happened with my tea pot) For very fine ground coffee, you will end up with a bit of sediment, and it's up to you if this is tolerable or not, I mean afterall, people still drink Greek and Turkish style coffee, with very fine grounds being part of the coffee normally. Some people will not mind sediment, while others cannot stand it. Also, a lot of sediment will increase the strength of your coffee while it sits and may cause more bitterness than necessary. In conclusion,In my opinion, I would say go for the aeropress if you are passionate about your coffee and would like a more involved and precisely controlled coffee experience than your typical drip brewer machine. If you do, though... you will need a couple additional supplies to help you out, such as a thermometer appropriate for water temperatures, and an electric kettle will prove to be extremely useful. http://www.amazon.com/Hamilton-Beach-Ensemble-Pouring-Kettle/dp/B005NIXS9O/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1354479726&sr=8-11&keywords=electric+kettleI hope this helps anyone considering buying this device!!!

Convenient For One Cup Coffee
prisrob

I have tried the Keurig system coffee maker, and decided the coffee taste was not up to par. I was looking for something when I wanted that one cup of coffee, and didn't want to have to deal with coffee filters.Fill the brewing chamber with coffee of your choice, add very hot water, let it brew, and place this over your coffee cup. This opens the alive and releases the coffee. Once you lift the brewer, the valve closes. This has a built in wire mesh like the French Press. The coffee was full bodied, with some sediment. Clean up was simple, similar to the French Press. I did find this coffee brewer did not fit on two of my Starbuck's mugs. The mugs are both 3 1/4 inches in diameter. That was a disappointment, but, now I know.I probably will not use this coffee brewer everyday, but it is good to have around. A terrific gift for someone who lives alone.Recommended. prisrob 03-22-13

Easy and delicious

This simple brewer is tops for me. It is fast and simple - no filters required and no parts to be pressed together, plunged or heated. Simple method: pour boiling water over coffee grounds in container with built in filter and allow a few minutes to brew. Set container over cup and brewed coffee filters into cup. There is a very slight mist of grounds in cup. Coffee is delicious.
